Breath of the Wild Cookie table

We at Mollie’s Organics love to bake cookies. We are particularly happy to do cookies that are hard to do. These cookies were very difficult!

Creating a formula for the cookie dough was a challenge - it had to taste very good, have a nice chewy texture, yet hold a design. We tried different types of shortbread (too hard!), many sugar cookie recipes (too soft!) and finally settled on a custom cookie dough that would hold the imprint of the Nintendo Breath of the Wild designs (just right!)

The cookies were baked at a lower temperature, and when completely cooled they were sprayed with gold sugar; the imprints were carefully glazed with a custom green icing that would become semi-stiff when dried.

Each cookie was carefully packaged individually, and placed on the dessert table along with Tri-Force cookies and other memorabilia.
